The Word of Allah, preserved.
Revealed to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ over twenty-three years. Memorized in full by millions across every generation since. Word-for-word identical in every copy on earth.
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
The Quran is the final revelation sent by Allah to humanity through Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, beginning in 610 CE and completed over twenty-three years. It contains 114 surahs (chapters) and 6,236 ayat (verses), revealed in Arabic.
Unlike earlier scriptures, the Quran has been preserved unchanged since its revelation — both in writing and in the hearts of millions of huffadh (memorizers) across every generation. Every copy on earth, in any country, reads the same Arabic text.
Muslims believe it is not the words of a man, but the literal Word of Allah — a miracle in its language, its preservation, and its guidance.
